Call of Duty servers are down tonight, causing issues for gamers trying to play Modern Warfare and Warzone across a number of platforms.
It appears that Xbox One might be one of the worst affected by the outage, although it’s unclear just how widespread tonight’s server problems might be.
For now, it appears that Warzone queues are back and gamers are unable to enter games on PS4 and Xbox One.
It’s unclear what has caused today’s server issues on Call of Duty titles, or how long they might last.
One user reports: “Now it says “Servers are undergoing temporary maintenance. You have been entered into the queue and will be joined to the game shortly.”
Warzone queues are usually put in place during extensive updates or when there are problems with the game, making it easier to bring everything back online.
And while there are now thousands of reports covering today’s Call of Duty server problems, there’s a good chance things will be back online very soon.
If this is not the cause, Activision will likely share an update within the next hour.
